Aleppo chili pepper comes from southern Turkey, near the Syrian town of Aleppo. Moderately hot, Aleppo peppers are celebrated for their rich and complex fruity ancho-like flavour and tangy-sweet finish that's sometimes described as a cross between cumin and cayenne. Sprinkle Aleppo peppers over everything from pizza and pasta to potatoes, deviled eggs or tuna salad. Creates a tasty and beautiful garnish.
